Church planting

Negoi village

ROM planted a church in the impoverished village of Rastu Nou after a flood of the Danube destroyed many homes in 2006. This church, pastored by Pastor Adi Gașpar, is thriving and felt led to plant another church in a nearby village that does not have a significant evangelical presence. They have held ministry in the village of Negoi for over 4 years, meeting in an old house which had property where a future church could be built.

The church is nearing completion, but there are still financial needs for several things before they can use it.  God recently provided funds for a heating system due to the generosity of a church in Oregon. Another church had a special offering and with that 1/3 of the amount needed for chairs has been raised. Still needed are funds for an air conditioning system. This part of Romania has sweltering heat in the summer.  They also need funds for the bathroom fixtures, construction of stairs, fencing, interior finishing, storage area, lighting, etc.  If you want to donate for this project, please make a notation "for the Negoi project".
