War victimizes civilians

Winter Hardships

Continued need as winter approaches

There is a small border area in southern Ukraine near the Black Sea which is along the border of Romania.  We are able to help send food, medical supplies and limited clothing to this strategic corner of Ukraine which is fairly close to the seaside city of Odessa.  Russia is firing drones from the Black Sea which go over this region to targets in the north and elsewhere.  People from large cities are coming to this area to stay for a time or to travel through as they flee their enemy. They come with very little and have great needs, especially as winter approaches.

We work directly with two pastors who get the assistance we provide exactly where it is needed. Costs have skyrocketed in Ukraine, so although there are some items in stores, people cannot afford to pay for them. They heat with coal or wood. Because of the war, the coal that they would need for 1 winter would cost an entire year's worth of salary IF they had a job! If you are able to help with the costs of supplying food and clothing which can be purchased in Romania, please donate here with a designation that it is for the Ukraine project.
